The Junior League of Anderson County is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Several times each month, a group of our volunteers visit Shalom House facilities in Belton and Anderson to spend time with women recovering from addiction. We have dinner with them, do crafts with them and get to know them. To learn more about Shalom House, CLICK HERE.
Kids in the Kitchen
Kids in the Kitchen is a fundraising effort developed by the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) to promote children's health and wellness, a key issue for Junior Leagues since our founding in 1901. Today, a critical element of our ongoing commitment is teaching kids and their parents about the importance of eating healthy foods and involving them in the fight against childhood obesity. Other Community Involvement
